Siam at Siam Design Hotel Pattaya Review: Our Best Experience?
My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Siam At Siam Design Hotel in Pattaya, and I must say, it was an experience I’ll never forget.
I always let my wife, Saengduan, do the hotel bookings because she loves it, and she knows what I like, and I can’t really be bothered with it.
I must admit, she really surprised me with this choice.
When we arrived in the area and approached the hotel, I thought to myself: “Where did she get us into?” because from the outside, it’s a really tall, dark blue building, and when you enter the hotel, every color of the rainbow will welcome you.
The moment we stepped into the hotel, we were struck by its unique design elements and artistic touches that set it apart from other hotels in the area.
As we explored the hotel, we were impressed by the stunning infinity pools, which there are 2 of, diverse dining options, and exceptional service.
In this review, I’ll share my honest thoughts on the hotel’s amenities, hotel room, value for money, and overall experience, helping you decide if it’s the right choice for your next trip to Pattaya.

Our First Impressions of Siam @ Siam Design Hotel Pattaya

The moment we entered the Siam Design Hotel, we knew we were in for a unique experience. The vibrant lobby, with its bold color scheme, immediately caught our attention. Splashes of red, orange, and gold against more neutral backgrounds created an energetic first impression.
Personally, I’m not an art lover at all, and I was kinda shocked when we arrived, but once I saw the room they arranged for us, my doubts were completely gone.
We came from another hotel, and the annoying thing is that you have to check out around 12 o’clock, while you can check in around 3 PM. So if you’re lucky, your room will be ready, but in case it’s not, there are 3 hours of time to kill.
When we arrived at the Siam hotel, I asked if our room had a balcony, because I’m a smoker and the lady at the reception offered us a room with a balcony, but they already had one of their best rooms booked for us, which they were still cleaning. But that room didn’t have a balcony.
So I told her I trust her opinion, and I would let her surprise us.
We dropped our backpacks off at the reception, and we went to an Onsen sauna, which was about a 10-minute walk from the hotel, and we would return later.
Location and Accessibility: Heart of Pattaya
The Siam @ Siam Design Hotel Pattaya is in a great location, where the entrance is right opposite the Central Marina shopping mall. There are lots of food stalls outside and live music in the late afternoon/evening.
From the Siam hotel, it’s also less than a 10-minute walk to Soi 6. For the single men out there, you are going to love Soi 6.
This is where you’ll find lots of half-naked Thai girls trying to drag you inside their bars.
My wife and I were walking along Soi 6 the other night, and because a car was driving through, we got separated. It only took those girls 5 seconds to grab my arms with the 2 of them, and I had to point to my wife, who was about 10 metres ahead of me, for them to let me go.
The hotel is also just a 5-minute walk from the beach. All you have to do is walk around the hotel, and that alley will lead you straight to Beach Road.
If you want to go a bit further, there are baht busses stopping right in front of the hotel. These are vans that can hold about 10 people and will drive through the main areas of Pattaya. You can wave your hand and hop on and whenever you want to get out, just press a button. And the best part.. it will cost you just 10 baht per person, no matter how far you’re going.
So if you want to pay a visit to Walking Street, just take the baht bus and you’ll be there in no time.
Our Studio Room With a Beautiful View
Siam@Siam Design Hotel Pattaya offers a range of rooms to suit various types of travelers. The rooms are equipped with modern amenities, including a flat-screen TV, a coffee maker, and some have a balcony.
As I mentioned before, the hotel staff picked a great room for Saengduan and me, which was a Studio room with an ocean view. Although our room didn’t come with a balcony, it did feature a small, cozy corner with pillows and a bottom-to-ceiling window, overlooking Pattaya city.
Our room came with:
- Refrigerator / Mini bar
- Bluetooth speaker
- Smart TV
- A desk with a mirror that could be folded open.
- Super soft bed
- Bathroom with bathtub and shower, and a Japanese toilet, which is fully automated. This was quite a unique experience.
- A little corner with pillows, where we could just relax together and overlook Pattaya city.

The Unique Design Elements That Stand Out
The Siam@Siam Design Hotel is a true masterpiece, showcasing a bold artistic vision that’s evident throughout the property. The modern interiors are as colorful as the city itself, with bold splashes of red, orange, and gold contrasting with more sedate neutrals.
Artistic Touches and Decor
The hotel seamlessly blends contemporary Thai influences with international design elements, creating spaces that feel both familiar and excitingly novel. We were particularly impressed by the thoughtful curation of local artwork displayed throughout the common areas and corridors.

Color Schemes and Ambiance
The designers have masterfully used bold color accents against neutral backgrounds to create visual interest without overwhelming the senses. The result is a vibrant and eclectic atmosphere that perfectly captures the energy of Pattaya.
Siam at Siam Design Hotel’s Stunning Infinity Pools
We were really impressed with the infinity pools of the Siam Design Hotel. Yes, pools. There’s not 1 but 2 separate pools on top of each other.
There’s a huge lounge area with big swimming pool and you can take another elevator up an extra floor, where there’s another area with an infinity pool. Both of these have 360 views all over Pattaya as well as the ocean.

The Restaurant and Bars
Whatever hotel we book, we always try to book with a buffet breakfast, since I never eat that much in the morning, while my wife can eat a lot.
The Siam hotel has a great restaurant that serves an extensive breakfast in the morning and offers lots of options for dinner during the late afternoon up to the evening.
They also offer lots of fresh seafood if you’re into that.
Big Fish Restaurant
Big Fish Restaurant is a seafood lover’s paradise, offering a range of dishes that showcase the best of Thai and international cuisine. The restaurant’s elegant ambiance and attentive service make it an ideal spot for a romantic dinner or a special occasion.
On The Road Dining
For a more casual dining experience, On The Road Dining offers an all-day menu with a variety of international dishes. We enjoyed leisurely breakfasts and quick lunches here, and the menu had enough variety to keep things interesting throughout our stay.

Skybar Summer Club
At the top of the hotel, they also have a beach-themed skybar, called the Skybar Summer Club. You can chill at the pool on the upper deck while sipping on your cocktail, overlooking the ocean. If that doesn’t sound like a holiday vibe, I don’t know what will.
Hotel Facilities and Services
Our stay at Siam @ Siam Design Hotel Pattaya was enhanced by a comprehensive range of amenities. The hotel’s facilities were designed to provide everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Fitness and Recreation
The hotel features a well-equipped fitness center with modern cardio and weight equipment, offering panoramic views that make it worth working out. There are also complimentary fitness classes, including sunrise yoga sessions on the rooftop.
Services for Guests
The hotel offers 24/7 room service. So in case you arrive late or very early, there are always options to order food in case you get hungry.
Amenity | Description |

Fitness Center | Modern equipment with panoramic views |
Room Service | 24-hour service with extensive menu |
Babysitting Services | Available for families |

Exploring Pattaya from the Hotel
With its strategic location, Siam@Siam Design Hotel Pattaya is the perfect base for discovering Pattaya’s main attractions. We found that the hotel’s proximity to various things like shopping malls, spa’s, and nightlife made it a great choice for our stay.
Shopping malls like Terminal 21 as well as Marina Bay are literally around the corner from the hotel.
Conclusion: Would We Stay at Siam @ Siam Design Hotel Again?
The Siam Design Hotel is one of our favorite hotels in Pattaya as of now and we will definitely be back in the near future.
As mentioned before, we always like to mix up hotels from simpler hotels to more luxurious hotels, and this hotel is a very luxurious hotel.
And since we always try to book with breakfast, this hotel offers a very wide range of food during the breakfast buffet.
And like you could read in this review, the swimming pool really is one of their best features, as well as our little nook in the corner where we could relax and watch the view over Pattaya.
